Arimoto is a 55-room inn on five floors a three-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine and the Momijidani park entrance, on the island itself (Klook, Dive Hiroshima). Rooms run from Japanese tatami rooms with futon to Western twins, family rooms and suites; some have outdoor cypress baths, and some look onto the shrine. It is the island's larger, more hotel-like option against the small inns like Iwaso and Iroha, and the one with a shuttle from the ferry pier. Staying on the island means the shrine and the torii at night after the day visitors have gone.
