Hyakuna Garan

Hyakuna Garan is a small resort on a cliff above the sea at Hyakuna, on the southern coast of Okinawa's main island in Nanjo. It opened in 2012 and has about 17 rooms: 14 executive rooms and three suites, all facing the ocean (Forbes Travel Guide). Six of the rooms, called houjouan, have rooftop open-air baths looking over the water. The resort does not take children under 13. Dinner is Japanese and Ryukyuan kaiseki in a dining room that runs along the shoreline. The property received a Michelin Key in 2025. Naha Airport is about 35 minutes by car.
