Nagisatei Taroan is an adults-only oceanfront ryokan perched on a safe hilltop overlooking the dramatic Sanriku coastline in Miyako City, Iwate Prefecture. Rebuilt in 2015 from the former Taro Kanko Hotel, all 10 guest rooms feature private outdoor hot tubs and sweeping Pacific Ocean views from floor to ceiling.
