About
Hotel Kazurabashi stands in the Iya Valley a short walk from the Iya Kazurabashi, the vine bridge that gives it its name. Its open-air bath is on the ridge above the hotel and reached by the inn's own cable car, with the valley below (kazurabashi.co.jp). One room has its own open-air bath, two have view baths, and four private baths can be rented. Dinner leans on Iya mountain food: dekomawashi skewers of potato and tofu, buckwheat porridge, Iya soba and char-grilled ayu. Oboke Station on the JR Dosan Line is about 30 minutes by bus, and the hotel runs a shuttle by reservation.
