Kiyomizu is an Akiu Onsen inn with a main building and an annex, each with its own large bath and open-air bath, plus three detached rooms, Sansuian, Rakuraku and Seifu, for guests who want a bath and garden of their own (kiyo-mizu.jp). The main rooms are Japanese-style, some with beds, and one is accessible. The Rairaikyo gorge is about seven minutes by car and Sendai about 30. It is the quieter of the Akiu inns here, less grand than Sakan and smaller than Rantei.
