About
Yuen Bettei Daita is a 35-room onsen inn in a residential corner of Setagaya, beside Setagaya-Daita Station and a short walk from Shimokitazawa, opened in 2020. The indoor stone bath and a smaller outdoor tub are filled with alkaline water brought from Hakone's Ashinoko springs; some rooms have their own open-air baths (Rakuten Travel, Shimokitazawa Board). There is a sauna, a kappo restaurant and a tea salon. It is the quieter of the two Yuen inns and the one to choose for a night that feels away from the city while still 15 minutes from Shibuya by train.
